titus...he really doesn't use any words...

but communicates pretty much as well as an adult....
we all talk to him as if he understands all we say and he often really seems to!
he is snuggly and loving...adores jack...follows esme around...and chooses josh often over me which is so sweet that it sometimes makes me teary.
he plays jokes, dances and pretend coughs or sneezes to make you laugh...
how am i so very very blessed???
 

 

 

 

jack....truly the kindest fella i know

this guy has spent the week axing out a trough from a log...building fires  and roaming the woods to bring back stories of things he saw...he collects acorns to make pancakes, finds feathers for my hair and works so hard at his school even though none of it really comes easily to him.
he is a treasure....
and i dont' care one bit that i am his mom...i could talk all day about my kids...=)
he is a joy!
 

 

 

 

esme...my princess

i wouldn't have thought i would have gone along with the princess themed lifestyle =) before having kids...but you know, it just fits esme. she loves beautiful things...and has a sweet compassionate heart with a healthy helping of passion and will to do things her way in her time.  the latter we certainly work to understand and encompass others =)

i took an old black dress of mine and restitched it for her....i haven't gotten around to straps yet but she doesn't care...it has layers...that is really all that matters =)

tomorrow is photo day!
we have such an amazing lineup of photographers...they have volunteered their time to come and take pics all day! so come on out between 10-5!
all proceeds go towards moving orphans into families...and assisting with surgeries to make them well...what could be better =)

Family Photo Day!!!! November 23rd !!!!

So I have recently become a part of a really neat group here in Columbus called Clement Arts (whose name come from Les Mis....it has to be cool right?)
anywho...they use the arts (they are musicians) to raise money for people who are adopting children...and then to help support those families once they adopt a child (medical bills etc...)

So, in this new role of "helper funder raiser" I have put together a photo day....and I am so hoping it will be full of folks and I feel it will be bc I want to go through the photo spots myself!

we will have 3 'scenes' set up....some crazy like leaves in the air ...some Christmassy (for cards)...and maybe one 'formal' ish...or by the creek...the spots haven't been chosen yet.  there will be 3 photographers....each family will have 10 min with each photographer...so 30 min, all the pics on a cd for $50!!

I have a list of when folks have already signed up to come...from 10 am - 6 pm. so if you are interested you can text or email me (claredms@yahoo.com or 706-201-4983) or you can just show up! we will stagger folks through...so the wait shouldn't be long at all!

bonfire going, food to eat, music around the fire, and lots of pictures being taken!...so it will be a fun day!
