yesterday morning we painted rocks....
esme in the second photo is showing us how you can also paint your teeth blue =)
and then i remembered this rock/mineral collection i have...which for the life of me, i can't remember where it came from
but it is quite wonderful...
it is a geologist collection....sulfur, copper ore, galena, fool's gold, quartz, garnets, fossils, shale, sedimentary rocks, obsidian....and many others which i can't remember the names of =)
we lit the sulfur on fire to smell how stinky it is =)
and tried to cut stuff with the sharp obsidian....
i get so excited when i see that jack is taking in some of what we learn...
homeschooling becomes more and more something i can see myself doing...
