winnie the pooh says this when he can't find his honey or when he realizes he ate it all already.
i am saying it bc i can't find the camera cord...again! i've turned the house upsidedown looking for it to download the photos i have been snapping...i have this vague recollection which goes something like "o, here's the grey cord...i'll put it right here so i won't lose it...."
alas, i can't remember the special spot.
well, yesterday was our 4th anniversary! i think that is why i have been musing about marriage and home and family a bit...and i need to make an adendum to an earlier post about family...i thought more about it and i think the key element in a person's childhood which makes them a healthy adult is being loved....really loved and accepted by their parents..or parent. no matter the craziness or ups and downs, all of that can be so beautifully covered by love..."love covers a multitude of sins"...i think that is what i was trying to get to but didn't quite make it the other night...anywho
josh gave me 2 beautiful pieces of pottery from asheville...one is a bowl which reminds me of a flower and the other a mug which reminds me of cob =)
he got off work early and we took the kids to the playground by walmart...then home and made pizza and ate a gingerbread cake i made as our treat =) we also shared some red wine which i love...then when the kids went to bed, we snuggled up and watched a movie....and chatted...it was really easy and good. i love josh a lot. he is strong and full of character...an honest man to the core....sometimes i get all bent out of shape at his forthrightness or bullheadedness...and then i realize how well we are suited...i need him and i like knowing that i do....and i think there are few people who could really live with me...few guys i mean...josh is very self assured and lets me be independent...which being honest, i am moreso that even it seems....but he handles that well and loves me for it...and maybe sometimes a little in spite of it...
o goodness, i am rambling. =)
went to see a baby sheep today named esme!
and baby potbelly pigs...ADORABLE..
have to find that cord!
