and took her for a drive... but you know, it is actually kinda neat to watch something happen and to realize you don't have to be there orchestrating everything. i am usually like a crazy chicken...making sure everyone has something to drink etc...but you know, they did just fine without me =) the food was marvelous...ingie brought a tirimusu which was AMAZING...pat brought brownies and marie brought cupcake chocolate treats...there was enough chocolate to give us all quite a long sugar high =)
and most wonderfully, $2191.00 was raised to help monica... i am so grateful for such generous friends...please know that this will go to help out a lovely soul and a very deserving person.
Clare, we had a great time. You ended up with a lot more photos than I would have thought having to tend to Esme with her tummy ache, I 'm glad you got a record of your fun filled evening. Hope to see you again soon and hope Esme's tummy stays easy for both of your sakes.
ReplyDeletesoooooooooooooooooo hate that we missed the fire, but glad to hear of the success. we have our t-shirts though that mom got us and will wear them proudly. glad to see that there was actually chocolate for the party...i had my doubts with joshes late night raides of the kitchen for sugar! looking forward to being back down in few weeks to wrap up the house...
