My first ever book club experience!!!
Tori snapped all these fun photos! What a great time to be with wonderful souls!
lemon uses, drawing owls on a cold day and shooting their first deer of the season!!!
these are so out of order!
but i use a lot of lemons...mostly in juice for the morning and am always throwing out the rinds...
i checked out pinterest and of course there are 25 different things to do with those rinds so i tried a few!
first i dried them to make lemon pepper....mixed 5 rinds of a lemon, 1/3 cup of pepper corns and 1/4 cup salt...mixed in the blender and voila!
this is a cleaner that is made from rinds (i also used grapefruit) mixed with white vinegar...they say to let it sit for 2 weeks and it is a WONDERFUL smelling cleaner!
we have needed some shelves beside the fridge and we found this file cabinet with brass pulls at the thirst shop! and it is green my favorite color! woo hoo! i love it! it can take heavy loads too...so i have it filled with canned goods...perfect!
i love saturdays...the kids and i watched a tutorial on how to draw owls! titus fell asleep after about 3 minutes but jack and esme's turned out great!

josh and jack went out stalking this morning for their first hunting experience this season and josh shot a deer! it ran about a half mile so jack and titus helped to track it...what an awesome morning! 8 points!
i can't help but to look at their lovely creatures and feel a loss... and yet i am so thankful how they feed us throughout the year! i am also so proud of my guys who go out there and get it for us!
