metamorphosis

well, i've stopped taking pics of our projects lately....bc i didn't think i could blog them! but i'll start again!
this one we made a while ago....
salt dough (1 part salt, 2 parts flour plus water....)
then we drew out the stages of metamorphosis...and labeled them...
then we made them from dough, baked and painted them and then glued them on!
we made up a song a while ago too....

hanging hubcap =)

i've been making hanging baskets out of all sorts of things...
i found a hubcap at the dump and painted it, planted it up and voila! i think i sold it for $18

few more things in the garden center and my little helper =)

a birdfeeder from an old tractor blade, some concrete birdbaths, tee-pees to grow things up, plant holders, and lamps from chicken feeders

i was a little afraid at first of living on a lake...but this one has such a gradual slope and so many windows facing it...and they are never without me or josh for 99.9% of their day anyway =)

here he is making boxes for his artifacts he dug up in the yard...
he found a place with ooooold rusty nails which have so much rust around them they look like bullets =)
so of course to him they are civil war bullets that each need a box to protect them....
but i could stare at this pic for hours..i can see him as a teenager in this photo...i can imagine him anyway...

and jack played violin and we all chatted on the couch...it was sooo lovely!

he had 5 in all from the saw wound...and was such a champ...and i think kinda misses them now =)

so all of a sudden the computer is letting me put on photos!!!!
so i'll upload a bunch and see if they get on here...i can write and fill in gaps later!
