jack's violin recital!

jack doesn't seem to get nervous at all!
well, actually this is the first time he has said "when i think of playing up there i get this shot of something in my tummy"
which is just how i describe adrenilin =)
he did beautifully though...totally didnt' play second half of one song but didnt' realize it...just stopped and had a big grin on his face of satisfaction and took a bow =) and then played another just beautifully =)

and dueted with vivian for a few songs...

well, busy =)

today we had veritas class...truly love teaching there so much...
we are supposed to close on the land this friday!!!! yayayayay!!!!
but there is some mixup about a deed so we'll see...but it should be soon!

Monday...

1.  met the kids pediatrician today....love her...i think she is from the phillipines and so knowledgeable and kind.
2.  lost baby Jesus from the magnetic fridge nativity...definitely the piece that uncompletes the set.
3.  went to medieval times for jack and josiah's birthdays, forgot my camera!!!! jack now prays at night for not only george washington but for all knights.
4.  jack's recital yesterday!!!!!!! josh and i were so proud...he might not always hit all the right notes but he plays with FEELING....nay, may i say passion! i love to hear him play.
5.  grace brought oranges...i have eaten 8 today.
6.  electric blankets are still some of my favorite things in the world...so if you know any bad side effects just don't tell me =)
7.  jack caught 4 fish this week.
8.  esme wears ONLY pink...undies, socks, dress, shoes, cardigan....it is all pink =)
9.  baby chicks are not so baby anymore!
10.  i love nutella.

The Smile Train Fun Run!!!

the kids were amazing!
i thought they'd run about 5-8 laps and then be FINISHED and ready for hotdogs...but we had to pull them away after about over half an hour!!!! it was crazy! they did GREAT!!!!
11 kids ran...and we ate almost all our hotdogs and a whole bag of smarshmallows =)
perfect!

but on a spur of a moment we just got in the car and called the hords and went ...
on the coldest night !!!!
it was such fun though =)

jenny had a yard sale a few months ago and all that didnt' sell ..well, much of it...came here =)

and we went to cut Christmas trees earlier this week...and i say plural bc we cut 3 =)
